    GULFPORT, FL:  OneBlood will have the Big Red Bus in Gulfport on Tuesday November 14, during the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market. OneBlood encourages all eligible blood donors to make blood donation a regular part of their lives.  This will enable a ready blood supply locally and for OneBlood to help wherever the need may arise.

    In light of all of the recent tragedies and natural disasters, OneBlood needs YOU even more than ever. Visit the Big Red Bus at the Gulfport Public Library, 5501 28th Ave S, (at Beach Blvd. and 28th Ave S.), Tuesday, November 14, between 10 AM and 12 PM.

    Gulfport, FL.: The city of Gulfport hosts over 70 vendors, who occupy Beach Boulevard in Gulfport’s scenic Waterfront District each Tuesday for the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market. Vendors are situated along the sidewalks and trees of the Boulevard below 29th Avenue South. The Fresh Market is a year-round event in Gulfport, and with the change of seasons, the hours of the Market are extended to accommodate extra visitors.
    Beginning with the month of October, the Market is open from 9am to 3pm each Tuesday.

    Favorite long-time Market vendors still offer the best of fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, cheese, farm fresh eggs, local honey, candy, spices and seasonings, baked goods, jams and jellies, prepared foods, hand-made pet treats, fresh cut flowers, plants and organic garden fertilizers, and many other specialties. Hand-made soaps and lotions, healing preparations, essential oils and other bath and body products are on hand. Local painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers and other artists and artisans lend color and creativity to the Market scene, many of them working on site.

    The setting for the Fresh Market among the quaint scenery of Beach Blvd. makes for a refreshing visit. Small shops, boutiques, a wide array of restaurants, and colorful local history are all a part of what makes a visit to the Fresh Market enjoyable.   • Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market Offers Free Space for Non-Profits

    GULFPORT, FL:  The Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market continues its program of offering one free vendor space each week for community non-profit organizations.  The Fresh Market is a year-round event, attracting hundreds of visitors each week.  Groups may use the space to provide free information, promote and sell tickets to upcoming events, offer community outreach, raise funds, or sell items for fund-raising.  Any items to be sold must be pre-approved by Market managers.  All funds raised in any manner must be for the benefit of the non-profit organization, rather than any individual(s) or for-profit entity.

    The free space for non-profits is currently being scheduled and any interested and qualified non-profit groups may apply to use the space as available in upcoming weeks and months.  Non-profits that have made use of the space in recent months include library boosters, historical societies, environmental advocacy groups, community health organizers, art and theatre groups, veterans’ groups, animal rescue organizations and many others.
